Godly Goods™ - Policies for Our Sellers
Thank you for joining the Godly Goods community of Christian entrepreneurs! As a Seller, you represent Christ to every shopper who visits your store. These policies outline what we expect from our Sellers and how we serve you in return.
1. Seller Agreement
- Confirm the Godly Goods Statement of Faith aligns with your beliefs and that you run your business in accordance with it.
- Provide accurate product descriptions and photos.
- Ship orders promptly and communicate clearly with Buyers.
- Comply with all applicable laws and taxes for your products and business.
- Respect the reputation of the Godly Goods marketplace and other Sellers.
2. Fees & Payouts
- Sellers choose a plan (e.g., $10/month + 5% commission, $20/month + 3.75% commission, etc.).
- Commissions are deducted automatically from each sale.
- Payouts are cashed out at your direction from your Godly Goods Dashboard when there is at least $1 present.
- Fees are non-refundable unless an error occurs on our end.
3. Prohibited Products & Content
We’re excited to have you as part of our marketplace and gladly accept listings for all types of products. This means your products do not have to be biblical- or Christian-themed. However, no listing on the Godly Goods marketplace can contradict our Christian values. You may not list or promote:- Sexually explicit or “adult” content
- Occult or new-age spiritual items
- Profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory content
- Illegal, counterfeit, or stolen goods
- Weapons, drugs, or unsafe materials
- Anything that contradicts biblical teachings, dishonors God, or doesn’t line up with our Christian ethics
4. Seller Performance & Accountability
- Orders should be shipped within the timeframe promised in listings.
- Tracking information must be provided where possible.
- Sellers should respond to Buyer messages within 48 business hours, unless your shop is on vacation.
- Godly Goods may issue warnings or remove Sellers with repeated complaints, excessive cancellations, or poor service.
5. Taxes & Reporting
- Sellers are responsible for reporting their income and paying applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
- Godly Goods complies with IRS Form 1099-K reporting as required.
- If the platform is required by law to collect and remit sales tax on behalf of Sellers, that will be clearly communicated and handled automatically.
6. Faith-Based Business Standards
- Conduct business with integrity, fairness, and transparency.
- Treat Buyers and fellow Sellers with respect.
- Abstain from using the marketplace to promote doctrines, products, or causes inconsistent with the Godly Goods Statement of Faith.
7. Suspension or Termination
- Repeated policy violations
- Misrepresentation of products
- Misrepresentation of beliefs (whether evidenced on Godly Goods or elsewhere)
- Fraudulent or unlawful activity
- Harmful conduct toward the community
