The pillow measures approximately 10″ x 5″ and is handmade with flaxseed and 100% heavy-weight cotton fabric. It is double-stitched for durability of use. Each pillow has 2 chambers to evenly distribute the seeds. Put a couple drops of essential oil on the fleece to inhale for an extra boost of comfort.

Flaxseed provides a gentle, moist heat which promotes healing. The weight of flaxseed is gentle and comforting. Flaxseeds are flower seeds, rather than grain. Thus they contain 30-40% oil which remains inside the seed to be warmed again and again.

When heated, flaxseed pillows retain half their heat after an hour. Flaxseed pillows can also be chilled in the freezer for 2 hours or more to sooth fevers or slight inflammations.
